Red Rock Day School

Red Rock Day School serves all students with special needs and learning disabilities. We provide learning strategies and resources that help students reach their full potential. Our staff specialist will identify learning challenges early and design an effective educational plan. Students receive academic services and accommodations to ensure they progress and advance with their classmates.

Individualized Education Plans

Special education teachers collaborate with parents and guardians to create Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). The IEP provides the best learning strategy to support a student with special needs. Parent and guardian involvement is critical when creating these educational plans.  We document and carefully monitor IEP results to assess their success, identify areas for improvement, and ensure overall effectiveness.

School-Family Partnerships

School-family partnerships and two-way communication foster new ideas, perspectives, and suggestions to better support each student. Two-way communication helps us meet the mental, physical, social, and emotional needs of students.  By working together, we ensure students receive the specialized attention they need to progress through the school year without delays.

At Red Rock Day School, parents, guardians, teachers, and staff specialists work together to ensure students' continued success in the special education program. School-family partnerships help guide students toward the academic achievement needed to advance to the next grade level.  Our program helps students with special needs overcome educational obstacles, providing support for their physical, emotional and learning challenges.
